Campus2Community Internship

Hillel Ontario in partnership with JVS Toronto and UJA Federation

JVS Toronto, Hillel Ontario and UJA Federation are offering a unique opportunity for summer internship called Campus2Community (C2C) for Jewish university and college students. The program aims to provide students with real work experience through paid internships at Jewish community organizations, such as JF&CS, Ashkenaz Festival, Betel Center, JIAS and others. The program also offers a leadership and community engagement component. The goal is to offer students hands-on work experience for their future careers and help build the next generation of community leadership.

The internships will expose students to a wide range of job functions, including marketing, development/fundraising, event planning, HR, community services/programs, finance, and other areas for a period of 8 weeks between mid-June and mid-August.

Each student will be matched with an organization and work a 4-day week, with the 5th day (Monday) devoted to Jewish communal learning, leadership development, volunteering, and networking. Both in-person and hybrid models that combine in-person and remote work will be implemented as appropriate.

Springboard Fellowship

Hillel Guelph - Hillel UofT - Hillel Waterloo/Laurier - Hillel Queen’s - Hillel Western

The Springboard Fellowship is a paid, two-year fellowship that brings recent college grads with raw talent, passion, and skills needed to reimagine and redesign Jewish student life to college campuses across North America. Through this fellowship, participants will further develop their talents and use them to engage students in Jewish life.
Extensive Jewish education is not necessary — just an interest in creating a vibrant Jewish community, a commitment to learning, and the desire to make a difference in the lives of students. Graduating seniors or recent college graduates who have experience and a demonstrated interest in positively impacting the lives of hundreds of Jewish college students are encouraged to apply.
